ISO 50001 Energy Management System

ISO 50001 is the world's first energy management standard. Its purpose is to improve energy efficiency, taking into account energy use, consumption and efficiency.

Under EU Directives, Member States have to commit to a gradual reduction in energy consumption. ISO 50001: 2011, which is the organization's energy management and performance model, has been issued by ISO, which provides actions such as energy review, mapping the energy aspects of the company, and defining energy saving programs with the ultimate goal reducing the energy footprint of the company's services and products.
